In 2020, almost the same countries topped the list in a survey on the happiness index of 156 countries. These surveys signify how happy the citizens of a particular country are.

I have noted down the names of the top 20 happiest countries.

The survey on happiness uses some of the following parameters :

  • GDP per capita
  • Social support
  • Healthy life expectancy
  • Freedom to make life choices
  • Generosity
  • Perceptions of corruption

Now here is the ranking of some countries in Asia as per the happiness index:
